The show was supposed to start at 8:00, so you figure an opening act at 8:00ish and then Labrinth comes on maybe 9:00-9:15. First off, these tickets weren't cheap, $100 bucks each, so for that kind of money you expect a good show. Labrinth didn't come on stage until 10:00, well no opening act, just an uninteresting DJ on the stage. When she did come on, she seemed barely interested, like this was the last stop on a long tour and she was just plain over it. The only time she seemed to show any emotion was when she stopped the music to tell a story about a documentary she saw. She played almost none of her classic hip hop music that made her famous, and instead it was 8 guys on stage with macbooks and her mixing neo-soul. Her new band is the Canibanoids, and they basically did all of their new music. She didn't seem terribly interested in doing that too. It really felt like she mailed it in. I went with a friend and we were both disappointed.
